My Ride: ///M5 BEAST
Model Year: 2006
quick updates:
- got the front bumper fitment right since the custom bumper we were going after fell through (the hunt continues though).
- went ahead and added the yellow RPI scoops (we were going with all blue accents but the yellow just works too well to abandon it now)
- put our first prototype of the front lip on. looked so good that we kept it on for the MFEST car show and track event on Sunday. Awesome event btw, i hope the SoCal guys all made it out....great time!
front lip: we have a second prototype being created this week that will be representative of the final version (minor tweaks here & there in the pursuit of perfection) in case anyone is looking to pic one up. this is made of a strong acrylic, has a awesome hi-gloss finish and looks top notch in my opinion. im really pleased with the way these and the side skirts turned out on the project, definitely worth the time and patience
for the lip design, i wanted something clean and minimalistic. we elaborated on the splitters that we had previously produced earlier this year. what do you guys think?
next up: rear bumper and a custom designed rear diffusor...
