Dumb question but whats the difference between the regular fog lights and the projective fog lights? (I obviously know nothing about fog lights)

The main obvious difference is regular fog lights uses reflector concept and of course the projective fog lights uses lens as projector concept.
Different light pattern ... Google each of them to find out the detail of how their pattern look like.
