I have been trying to get the LED Marker bulbs for my E60 LCI 2008/04 with Halogen lights. It doesn't have the H8 Marker bulb at the back like the Xenon lights have but the 12V 10W bulb situated under the main beam light. I have purchased the cone shaped LED with the single white LED bulb but the cylinder that houses the LED bulb is too long to fit into the housing recess. There is a metal plate with a glass window in behind the part where the light turns into that is only about 10-15 mm deep and the LED housing is close to 30 mm long. There seems to be 2 channels where the light goes which is obviously for the to Halo Rings but the bulb just won't fit and I haven't seen anything else on the market that has a shorter LED housing. The connection is correct as I have plugged the LED Marker bulb into the electrics and it works fine with no error messages so I'm a bit stuck now with no answers. Hopefully someone can help me out.

I have put a photo on showing the bulb housing with the metal plate behind it, the part number for the lights are 1LL 009 449-03/AH & 1LL 009 449-04/AH.

Thanks in advance, Steve.

Found someone who has eventually clarified that the bulbs are different and he should have some available in about 2 weeks. I'll keep you updated if they fit and ultimately work.

I'd appreciate any info on a solution.

I have bought a couple of sets of replacement bulbs to try in the OEM reflector housing but haven't got around to trying them yet.

You may have already found a solution to this but as I was going through the process myself I found these and they work a treat! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271491662528
