Hey guys,

I have a BMW 2006 530i and I just tinted my windows with huper optik. Ever since the tint, whenever I put my hands on the door handle, it doesnt sense my key anymore. Would it be coincidental and my key needs charging? or did the tint guy mess up my door or something? I know Huper optik is ceramic so it shouldnt interfere with any of my signals. Anybody else ever have this problem?

Thanks!

the comfort access keys don't charge- you actually have to replace the battery. I don't remember the size offhand, but look at the back of the key. if you remove the metal part you should see a small door that pops open and the battery is in there. Any pharmacy will have it. i'd try that before going into any further diagnostics.
