Predator Xenix fog light installation

well this is the diy link i found on the forum for fog light installation http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=5912&hl=fog

anyone have the predator xenin ones installed from umnitza?
i remember reading a post that said it requires you to shut off the battery or something to prevent something melting but i can't find the post anymore?

ANyone with experiences umnitza xenix that can offer me instructions or perhaps a link? thx

same. you dont need to disconnect the battery. Just dont leave the car on during install

Leon, installing fogs is easy, I can help you with that part.

and disconnecting the battery during install sounds completely wrong to me. I don't understand how it affects install if your car is turned off. After all, its just a light bulb.

No need to disconnect battery - but be certain car and lights are turned off.

Do not touch / handle the bulb glass with your bare hands.
