A few of you guys have the done mod where you spliced the wires within the headlights and added a capacitor to the wires leading into the ballasts etc etc.
My question is, how exactly did you get to the wires inside the headlights? The ones leading from the socket seems to clamped down and secured along the sides of
the headlight there is absolutely no way I can work with that space, so how did you guys do it?

Inside the headlight is the way to go so when you close the back cover lid it will look clean but you can do it from the plug outside the headlight if you prefer the result will be the same but the clean look may not be ... it depends on how you hide them ...

I had the same issue here. Basically, the wires are like you said "clamped down"....but, you can unclamp them by slowing moving them back and forth to get them free. The two wires you need (from my memory), are the two closest to you...brown and yellow. You can eventually get enough room by removing them from the clamps that hold them down. My hands are gigantic and I was able to handle.

See the below pic. There are two clamps, wiggle the wires until you set them free. Then, you'll have enough room.

Thanks for the pic, I looked inside the headlight and it seemed like I'm going to have to sacrifice a few bruised fingers trying to set them free : (
