My Ride: MY07 525xi Silver Gray
Model Year: 2007
Bought the retrofit cable at my local dealer ... not very long for me as I'm OK working with wires, I guess the tedious part is swapping the plug as if involved rewiring the pins.
I started minimal and hack the wiring using capacitor and/or resistor from Radio Shack then just tired of warning that popped up frequently (sometime it shutdown the headlight) then I did the full conversion and on the plus side I got to re-program my LCM they way I want it i.e. flashing brake lights on really hard braking and got to re-wire the tail lights to enable the rear fog.

Ok so i can purchase the harness from the dealer how about the head and tail lights I've seen them on eBay or can I find them here? But after that I'm pretty much stuck I'm not capable of even the attempt I wouldn't want to ruin anything I'm in PA what do you recommend that I do I really want to do this upgrade before I do any thing else. Thanks for your help I appreciate your input
