Hey, so I recently got myself a really nice set of comfort seats for my E61. I tried installing them after reading any and all guides I could find, and honestly it just didn't work out. The connectors of both my old semi-electric seats and the new comfort ones are the same, except for where the wires go to which pins. I know a lot of people have done this retrofit before and frankly I don't have an option to just fork out like 500 euros for an electrician to do it for me. If anyone knows which wires go to which pins in both the module and the seat, I'd love to hear it. Thanks a lot

 

During all your reading you didn't come across the new pin out for the connectors that was needed to fit comfort seats. That's the most important part of the retrofit. If you don't have that you've waisted your money. Let me see if I can find my how to for that retrofit in my MEGA drive. I know LIN bus needs to be added and a airbag sensor needs to be changed.

 

And how could I possibly fix this? I'd love if you could find the how to. I mean if there are extra things I need to get, that's not a problem, I just need to know what specifically.
