Pre-LCI E60 530d 6HP28 retrofit from LCI E90 335d
 

Hi!

I have bought a m-shift (physical shifter) 6HP28 from an 2012' E92 335d. The gearbox part number is 7631055 and the HW number on the sticker is 7591972.

Besides physically mounting it to the car, what do I need to do in order for it to talk with DDE and not be stuck in limp mode (3rd gear)? Does the unit need to be virginized (if so - how?_

Is there a specific SW/HW version that has to be flashed for that to work? My car is built 12/2004 if that matters.
