have dealer turn off the DRL.

Turn on ur parking lights to act as if the angel eyes are ur DRLs. Bear in mind it's not that bright in daytime.

 

Like i mentioned before. MY friend's 2005 530i has angel eyes on during the day with the headlight switch in the AUTO position. Does anyone have a real answer to why his works this way besides saying "oh its not possible" BECAUSE IT IS.

Heck yea it is! I refuse to turn my switch from the auto position .

agree, it's simple to turn the knob. I can turn the DRL off on idrive then drive around with the parking lights on. However, then I get the ugly yellow lights as well. I was just curious if there was a different fix. btw, one time, i forgot to turn the parking light off and left it on all day. On a side note, why cars have parking lights. I've never used it.
