there's a member on n54tech.com that's offering to do this white LED cluster change over for $80

http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.p...ted=1#post80227

***I think some of those pics the OP took from here, from members that have done this mod here...he did make a slight disclaimer

he seems to have performed the mod on his e90...did not mention if he's done one on an e60 yet...but it might be worth pm if you want this mod but not very skilled with a soldering iron and LED's

That is cool, but I wonder if anyone here in SoCal does the white LED eyebrows. I would love to be able to send my lights to Mike, but a few days without headlights may get me more attention from the CHP than I like

haha. Also you dont want to turn on your car without headlights, you'll get error messages that dealer can only clear.

Also everyone, dont forget, I also mod your rings to become white and paint your needles red to match everything correctly.

pjinca: you never got around to doing your eyebrows?

I might be able to offer this cluster mod for people in OC area (or around), I ordered a batch of leds and just waiting for it to come in so I can work on this with my bud.

Ideally, I would like to offer the eyebrow mod and cluster mod to people around the area, since a number of us can't exactly yank out our headlights or cluster and send it away for a week or so, lol.

In the meantime, my buddy is looking for ways to cut the silicone easier. John (brabus) mentioned that he can pound the thing apart in 10-15 min, but I feel uncomfortable beating the thing apart (that hard), hahaha.
