Ok i was driving 90 mph and suddenly my tire pressure sensor went off saying my tire pressure is low

i thought that it was due to cold weather but realized there was a vibration...

i pulled over and trying to put some air... and as soon as air goes in air was leaking...

Found out that exacto knife blade got stuck in the tire....

I just got this tire and dont want to spend new tires unless i have to...

do you think i can repair it by patching ?

pics of the actual tire might help.

depends on location and size of the hole

rft or non-rft tire?

let the tire guys have look at the tire then they will tell you if it is repairable or not.

and i am sure you already know that repairing flat tire is usually free.

As long as it is not in the sidewall, you will be fine to repair it.

Punctures in tread area of conventional tires are generally repairable. Knife cuts are not quite the same and may have caused irreparable damage to the underlying structure of the tire [fabric cords, belts, etc].

You say you just put these tires on - did you also buy or pay for road hazard coverage? That would compensate you for repair or replacement.

It sounds repairable, but ultimately it's up to the shop to determine this! Good Luck!

the thing is it is staggard set and cannot rotate tire properly so i couldnt get a road hazard protection at all.

i took it to the shop and showed the guy and said it is too wide and it will be irrepairable...

which means i have to get new tires....

Sorry to hear that, it sucks! BTW, why are you replacing more than 1 tire?

Cars with staggered tires are eligible for road hazard protection. My tires are staggered and a friend has an Inifiniti G35 coupe with staggered tires and we both have road hazard protection warranties.
