Dear e60 forum members, this Brake Pad company claims it has the solution for our brake dust problems. I have included a copy of his email for you guys to look at and give me your opinion on this "Santa Claus!" (LOL)
Just kidding, but seriously what do you BMW e60 owners think: Should I: "DEAL" or "NO DEAL!" (LOL) with this Brake pad company?
In conclusion: I will do most anything to get rid of that annoying BMW excessive break dust with reducing our BMW Braking quality.
Sincerely,
R. Eddie Presley

Eddie-
You?re looking for the Deluxe Plus pads listed below, part numbers are 63-213-0918 for the front and 63-213-0683 for the rear. This link should take you to the Order Online page of our website: http://www.stoptech.com/user/searchproducts.asp Enter your Make, Year and Model then select ?Pads for Stock Calipers? in the box below, then ?Search? at the bottom of the page. You can order the parts online, or call in to our Sales Dept.
The Deluxe Plus is a very nice street performance pad that will give you OE type performance and much less dust. Just to give you a bit of a reality check? there will be ?some? slight bit of dust, there is no such thing as ?dustless?; something has to wear. Also, the better the brakes are bed-in, the less chance of any noise issues. Performance pads may have an occasional slight squeal at very low speed with light brake pedal effort. A bit of aggressive driving will help re-bed the brakes and eliminate any occasional noise.
Hey, I?m not the hard core salesman, I do tech support and would rather you understand you will still have to clean the wheels now and again and don?t freak out over a bit of squeal you can take care of very simply. The Deluxe Plus pad is the best solution you?re going to find for what you?re looking for. We sell a TON of those pads, mostly to BMW owners and we have very few issues. I?ve run them myself and the dust is significantly reduced. I never had any noise issues on my car.
Please let me know if you have any other questions-

Eddie, I've seen a few posts about the Axxis pads and the feedback seems positive. The guy is also being honest in his comments about what you could/should expect. I say "deal"

BMW is using a soft pad that throws off a lot of dust -- and they are doing this by design. So, there must be a reason for it.
The question I would have is what does the harder/less dusty pad do to the rotors.
