Has anyone had this issue? After I installed my Angel iBright's the radio reception becomes very staticky when I put my lights on. Yesterday I noticed that the radio plays perfectly fine and as soon as I turn my lights on (parking lights or fully on) the radio reception has lots of static so I switched the lights back off and the radio reception became very clean. Has anyone else experienced this?

Interesting findings. Which version of AIB did you install? I haven't noticed it on mine, but I'll listen for it next time. I just switched from using an iPod Video to an iPod Touch in the car, and I've noticed a difference in sound quality. But I can't tell if it's from the AIB or iPod Touch, since I installed the AIB and switched to the Touch at the same time.

Driving home, I remembered this thread with all the recent static noise I've been getting from my Griffin iPod Touch FM modulator. This wasn't present before the AIB v3 upgrade.
Sounds like I'll need to install the AUX adapter after all. Does anyone know if the AIB mod affects the AUX input as well?
- With the lights off = clear sound with the iPod
- With the AIB / headlights on = static with the iPod

I get the static while listening to AM/FM however I also have metallic tints, I wonder if that has any affects in conjunction with the AiB. BTW, I had the metallic tints on for almost 6 months and never had any interference or static. I don't beleive that the AiB will have an affect on the sound from the AUX.

This is an OLD problem with AIB's, dating back to 2006. I would have thought the newer versions have had the bugs worked out. Check this thread from the M5Board for more info:
