Thumbs up

Hi,

I have a CPO 2006 525i (w/ Premium/Cold Pkgs only) bought 3weeks back, I am looking to add the following options soon:

1) Tint 35% all around with Dyed Charcoal tint ($175 installed I guess??)

2) PDC or Rear-camera option (heard rear-camera is cheaper mod and more effective)

3) Replace stock 17" w/ 19" 128's

4) M-Aero kit (probably later)

Pls let me know, what are the prices you paid for these things. Any problems with any of the above that I should be aware of or any disadvantages? Thanks!!

So I just got my windows tinted... and from my understanding the colored tints have small metalic peices in them that disturb the electronics in the navigation and even the radio sometimes... Make sure you are not getting metalic tint look for ceramic tint... eg. Formula One... Just my 2 cents

Also if you have the non-sport suspension I would suggest lowering the car in some way after getting the 19" wheels especially if you plan on getting low profile tires... If you dont the gap between the tires and the wheel well will look enormous!!

Thanks for the reply.. The wheel/tire replacement tend to be more complicated than I thought.. ppl seem to talk about installing spacers, wheel vibration @ 65mph and all.. its kinda getting scary to replace my Stocks with 19" 128s or 126s. Dont BMW make Wheels/Tire that fit perfectly on 5series w/o any modification/additions??

You won't get vibrations. I had vibrations b/c my left rear wheel is bent a bit and the right rear wheel lugnuts wasn't as tight as it should have been. You really don't need spacers. Spacers are purely a cosmetic look.

Hehe, Like I said inspired from your car pics only... its like Love at First sight!!
I had to think soo much to spend xtra $1k when buying car... now I am thinking about adding $3K+ 19" wheels, tinting etc.. LOL! BMW is addictive!!!

Now have to find a 2nd job, to pay for these Mods
