Is that really a Dinan 5??? Interesting ... the spacing of the letters and the "5" itself look much different compared to the one on my car. Here's mine for comparison below. What mods are on your car? Pics???

mtw1116, didn't mean to be picky, but it's not often you come across a Dinan5!

Nice bodykit. Sorry quite new with these mods here. Is this bodykit an add on to the M-Teknik/M Sports bumper?

It is a full replacement bumper, but the side skirts and rear bumper are add on to your stock ones....

ya on my 535 im changing it up.. im jsut doing dual tip.. 4.5" tips and im also laying my rear with carbon fiber as well and also my side skirts.. I also modded my sides in which I removed the fork pin towards the front of the skirt but I left the one in the rear.. also I'm moding my rear bumper and making it look like the Rieger E92 rear bumper and I'm also molding it to make it as though its a one piece bumper and also molding my sides.. heres a pic of what the rear will somewhat look like..

also this is what I mean by removign the fork pin.. you know how the E60 sides have 2 pins where hte cut outs are this is what I did with mine..

LOL I don't mean to hijack your thread jsut trying to maybe give you some ideas for further modding

That's nice... Can't wait to see your car dude... Yeah thanks for the ideas though, but I think I am done with my car exterior. All I need is to install my spoiler trunk and my 4" dual tip on both sides.. People did like my carbon fiber side skirts and rear apron when I was @ HIN, so I am happy with that.. I have another show car though and I will email you the pix... Tell me what you think.... Good Luck on your project!!!!

Please don't take offense your car looks great but it is not a DINAN series car. In order to earn the DINAN badge you must accumulate 10 points and the points are based on the level of performance to the vehicle. That throttle body is 2 points so all you need is the intake(2 pts), software(2 pts), exhaust (3 pts) and strut brace (2 pts) to properly call your ride a DINAN 5.

The reason why this may be a bother some folks is that guys like Freedom, EuroCarFan and Roleez spent $$,$$$ to have a Dinan 5 that represnts a certain levelof engine/suspension performance.

I have a few Dinan Parts like Software, exhaust and throttle body but they say I have not earned my badge yet and I used to be Dinan's top sales manager!!!!

Thats all for me.

Do what JetBlack said and earn your points and get a well balanced car from mods that work synergistically with each other. Unfortunately, they don't make cold air intakes, exhaust or software for 525s or 530s yet but you can still get their suspension components which will dramatically improve the handling of your car.

Anyway, good luck with a great looking car. The Rieger kit looks better on a black car than the lighter colors.
