Hey need some advice,
I picked up this new Remus muffler yesterday (got a very good deal) anyone have any expierance with them?
far as the sound goes? I did some research, and it seems like these mufflers are in the price range of $300-$600?

I'm doing my quad set like this: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?act=attach...st&id=83460 (option 1)
can I use this muffler? for the e60?

I believe the muffler is for a e39 M5

you should be able to use it as long as the inlet is the same size. and just make sure you dont lose alot of torque =p the magnaflow doesnt give use a gain i think if we do the quad setup we acutally lose some power according to trinity autosport

This system is a RACE E39 M5 system. It will definately be loud if installed on a V8 version and will require serious modifications to fit. Retail is 1199 for a pair on these.

What you mean "serious modifications" I'm doing a quad setup, i'll make it into a dual inlet/outlet exhaust.

I'm not sure how you plan on doing a quad with this muffler.

You will need to cut off the tips. Use new tips. Rearrange inlet pipe to accomodate dual piping. Reweld and repaint the muffler. Modifiy the hangers or create completely new ones.

That's serious
