Piano Black Door Pillars
I had a few scratches on my door pillars that drove me nuts! You saw them every time you opened the door.
I didn't want to have to paint them or replace the pillars, so I thought I would try and give it a shot and put pillar covers on them and it turned out great! (imo)
what do you think?
I personally like the reflective black piano finish. I am not one for the carbon fiber look, so these worked out great!
And, they seem to be very durable and dress the doors up a little.

here is where I got them:

I think it looks good, except that chrome trim needs to be wrapped in gloss black or painted IMO. how about a pic a little further away?
I helped ya' out and rotated it for you loll

how about that third pillar on the side of the car, behind the back door's window. Does the kit include that overlay ?
i was thinking about doing this on my e39. wrap the trim and pillars in this stuff. From the ebay auction, it appears to be vinyl of some sort?

Yes, the last "thin" pillar on the rear passenger doors has the cover as well.
They are thick vinyl. they have a bit of a "give" to them if you press hard enough, which I like because I am always grabbing the pillar to shut the door and scrape it with my ring.
