Yeah, I'm one of those that can't get into that kit. It looks sick on the E61 but looks too "JDM" on the E60. But damn..your wheels are effing sick bro. Love the VIP full face wheels. This is honestly, the wrong platform to go VIP, but these MRR's looks proper on
E60.

I think your ride would look cleaner if you took off the trunk spoiler and put on a subtle roof spoiler.

There are a few non-OE kits that caught my eye. I initially wanted the OE kit... I purchased it for $1700 shipped but then I got a call telling me BMW discontinued it and I'd have to pay almost $1000 more. I said F BMW and the rest is history.

I'd glad I went a different direction though. Some people come around and enjoy the kit... some never will!

See... personally, I really dislike those wheels on this body style. Different strokes I guess. If a wheel has a face that big, it better have an equally large lip.

The intention of this build was a JDM BMW so... "too JDM" works for me!

I've thought about a roof spoiler but I think it looks too busy with the shark fin antenna. My trunk spoiler is one of my favorite parts of the car and I think it compliments the rear.

Lastly, this is VIP inspired, not VIP. I think any sedan can benefit from a little VIP treatment but I'm bias.

If by trunk finisher, you mean trunk spoiler, I already have one made by 3D Design.

Haha thanks man! You had a big part in my wheel/tire sizing! I've heard that complaint a lot regarding my tips. I'll have to hack up the bumper when I get some more work done because these tips are as big as I can go with the openings. ALSO, maybe I'll go quads. I wanted to stay away from quads so people don't think I have a M5 but I just love symmetry so damn much!

Here's my first rolling shot taken by my friend and local photog.
