its the only way , it was very tough to intsall all those 3 speakers inthe car i knew i would lose the dead pedal but i figuered that i usually keep my foot slightly on the clutch anyway. I did so much research on the install and this is the best location for those speakers not to mention the 7" midbass on the door.

the rest will be even better.

Stay tuned.............

That's why they are called "kick pods."

Kick pods are one of the best locations to install car audio "speakers." The distance from the driver's ears to the left and right side kick pods is close to equal. But when speakers are in the doors, the distances are off which leads to poor stereo imaging. Unfortunately, you will notice that he has lost the driver's dead pedal foot-rest. This is a modification I could never accept again. (I had kick pods in my Lexus prior to the 545i)

That's why I prefer Image Dynamics horns, rather than speakers. Horns mount under the dash, and achieve excellent stereo imaging without sacrificing foot room.

I thought of horns but i already had some competition 4" and 2" tweeter its not as bad as i thought, i realized i really dont use the dead pedal, i rest my foot on the clutch mostly.

Yeah. If you are true manual, then that makes a difference. I have SMG, and I live with my foot on the dead pedal... so I couldn't make that sacrifice.
