i have the Dinan chip in my 335i.. and im at just about375 380 hp mark... and it was 2100 covered under warranty... its such a big diff!!!!!!!!!! (i love it)

I just hope you never come across any of the 335's that I've done. They are smoking the new M3's by 2-3 cars in whatever gear they want to run.
Had a Dinan 335i that I did an AA exhaust on here and I called one of my clients with the same exhaust but with the PES TT-35 module and it wasn't even close.
HP is the NOT the most important number anymore especially with a supercharger or turbo. Its TORQUE......the one thing most BMW's are lacking in.
PS Dinan warranties are no longer being accepted by BMW. Look it up. They have had a break up recently so.........good luck!
You can remove the PES Module in about 20 minutes with basic hand tools!

PES TT-35 Module $1530/installed for E60.net members 135/335/535

2007 335i w/exhaust 406hp/467tq! Dyno sheet available upon request!

Isn't Bruce top notch? When you first see all the cars he works on and his clientele, you can be a bit intimidated. But once you talk to him and learn how down to earth he is and what appreciation he has for ALL cars, it really doesn't matter. He treats everyone the same, no matter what. And his prices and service is second to none. I highly suggest all NY members take a trip out to Bruce one day, if they plan any additional performance mods for their cars. Many who attended the big meet in June met Bruce, as he was our main sponsor.

Anyway, congrats Rob! Can't wait to hear your feedback on the remap.

that is an amazing gain and output for that engine. well done you.
out of interest, as i'm the other side of the pond and not likely to get mine done by yourself, what have you been achieving with the E60 M5? if you've done one yet sorry.

thx ... interested to know as have just had mine remapped by Evolve in the UK. they tried several maps from various tuners, and the best we came up with was around 15hp. torque upped slightly, but nothing worth noting. when they tried to one map that had significantly increased torque, the SMG simply said "no way".
that being said, the throttle remap, and the extra power is VERY noticable (also delimited). car much more responsive and urgent. i really don't think much more than 20hp gain is possible with the S85 engine. it's highly tuned as it is.
good luck with yours and post the results.. will it be rolling road tested?

Thanks for the kind words guys. I am just like the rest of you.....a hardcore car enthusiast. The only difference between us is that I get to play with and tune them for a living. I am sure that whoever has met me can understand my passion for cars and most importantly my clients! Educating them so they can understand the basis behind performance tuning and to help them make the best decision for themselves. Most of time though they say"What would you do if it was your car?" and I always try to develop a tuning program to suit them and not me. If it was up to me I would go "balls to the walls" but some clients just want their car to sound better and perform better and that is what I do.
Rob should be here in a little while so we can take his 535i to the next level in performance tuning!

Thanks again to all of you. YOU are why I do this!

We are getting 35hp/16tq with the new M5 software. With pulleys and the ECU tune we are getting approximately 65hp/40tq and that is with no exhaust work yet. With the M5 you can get your drive line loss to between 1% to 3% with exhaust, filters, pulleys and ECU. We are getting approximately 485-495hp at the wheels with a complete tuning package.
