Do you guys think its even worth it to do any Performance mods on an 04' 530.

if so what?

also does anyone know if i can take my car to the dealer after I have purchased it and have bmw install a suspention kit, that way my warranty will still be valid. Or is this not even worth it either

Rumor has it that BMW will be coming out with their own performance parts to compete with the likes of Dinan. Supposedly, it'll happen in a couple of months.

I too have an '04 530 and I think its worth it just as long as you don't expect it to become a 545 in terms of power, handling is another story. The only real performance mods I can see myself doing is lowering it, full catback, and maybe a CAI. But I have to admit, I can't wait to see if BMW has any plans for our models. I don't think the stealers will install your lowering kit, best to bring it to a performance shop.
