PDC sensors for retrofit
I am collecting parts to retrofit PDC onto my Pre LCI e60 Europe version. I already obtained the wiring kit, front and rear harness and the PDC module. Now I need the sensors and sensors mount.
1. Sensors. The genuine BMW are quite pricey and I saw many claimingly OEM stuff off ebay, probably Chinese knock-offs. Anyone tried these sensors out? A guy told me it might create electricial shock and burn the module. I tried to find used ones but tough.
2. Sensor mount- the front set is quite reasonably priced bit the plastic mount for the rears are ridoculously expensive. Can I just get a piece of metal and glue it onto the bumper and call it a day?
Appreciate your input
