@bakhtiyar: yes, I tried holding the button down to open the trunk, but didn't work.
Tonight I will code the follow me home lights again and check if the trunk will open after double clicking as it is the case for Liam.

Just another note to say thanks for uncovering this feature. I have enabled this on my euro 2006 e63 6 Series (630i Sport w/SMG).

I too struggled until I copped that I also needed to change the CAS parameter. To recap I changed the two LMA parameters & the one CAS parameter below:

LMA:
HEIMLEUCHTEN_KL58G_1
nicht_aktiv >> aktiv
HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL:
nicht_aktiv >> aktiv

CAS:
SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM
nicht_aktiv >> panikalarm

To add to the post here's a link to the video evidence!

Thanks again from Ireland!

Hey,

First post so go steady with me.
Can you do pathway lighting on pre-LCI non Xenons? (2006)

This sounds and looks uber cool, but dont reckon it'll work without Xenons..... right?

Thanks

Thanks nomis. Thats good news.
Are there any guides about on how to get into this moding via OBD lark, software to use etc?
Sorry if this is all a bit old hat.
Cheers

Does anyone have a list of Coding that can be performed on a Pre-LCI E60 (2004 545i)?
