Parts needed for E61 centre console/dash
Any one care to give me a little list of what i might need to fill the gap, doesnt have to be functional, just hide the hole, got the radio, it's loosely sitting in the void, thanks Hampshire Police!

Hi Toms,
Have you filled the centre dash void yet?
I have an ex Sussex police E61 530d which had some trim missing and all sorts of extra unattached wiring but motors along just lovely.
My centre console has two voids - one for an ashtray or drawer, the other for a storage tray.
I have the drawer ready to go in but I want to mount a 12v socket or two in place of the storage tray...unless I can think of something more exciting to put in there.
I would try a scangauge or something, but it's not a great place to be gazing at (away from windscreen).
What have you done to yours?
Bealie

It's kinda hard to tell but looks like you need the trim panel and the oddments box. Do you still have the frame inside? You need this to secure the parts to , otherwise you would need to create something on your own. If you take a look at realoem.com you can see what you would need to put it back to stock.

Hey guys, filled the hole now, managed to find a cage for it on ebay and a few parts inc ash tray etc, only bit i am missing is the radio surround, i have the air con one but not radio.
I also retro fitted an iphone wiring system, i disconnected the the rear AUX input and 1 12V plug, put in a USB cig lighter plug adapter and run a 2m iPhone cable under centre console to dash and out through the ash tray and did the same with a Aux cable, i kept the old Aux and cig lighter parts and replaced them so they "look" complete, even if only dummies.
