My Ride: BMW 535d M Sport.
Default Parts needed.

Hi, I need two new talegate struts for my 535d M Sport Touring 2006. I've looked online but only seem to be able find bonnet struts. Also my fuel filler cap won't open when pushed. Somethings fallen off the inside of the door so it doesn't activate the spring. Do I need a whole new door or is it possible to buy the piece that's missing? One more thing. I'm trying to find somewhere that sells replacement dash trims. I can only find American suppliers and as I live I the UK I'm having trouble getting through to them.
Thanks in advance for any help.
John, UK

Hello
I hope I can help a little
First
In the UK which side of the car do you drive Left or Right?
Important for dash trim parts
and what parts do you need?

Your strut parts and dash parts
I use this site to buy many of my parts I need
I have never had any trouble so I am hapy to recomend it to you
Just go to www.aliexpress.com
you can buy parts directly from the chinese supplier

I typed in BMW tailgate struts/ trim and there were many to chose from
You can also send an email directly to the supplier to check it will suit your car
as I said i buy many parts from this site and its always great quality and you can return the parts or get your money back if the parts are wrong or no good

rear fuelcap
did you remove your rear trim and have a look?
I am guessing it is just a spring that is either broken or something
but you may easily find something suitable and dont need any original parts to repair it

If i can be of any help please email me

Thanks for that website dude. I'll check it tonight after work. I put the same into Google and get lots of options but when you go into them you struggle to find the right part!
My cars right hand drive.
The fuel filler flap, it isn't the spring that's broken, that works fine once the flaps pulled open. I think there's something missing off the inside of the flap stopping it reaching the sprung pin.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated.👍

Hi, again. Tried that website, sadly to no avail. No struts for my car. Did see some trim but the price was crazy.
Thanks anyway though!
