Since day one, I've never liked the happy and smiley front bumper on the 2008 none M model. I've tried painted the trim black and other diy cosmetics that is far too embarrass to share. Above was my best work, but it's still a soft look. Purely personal taste and not knocking other LCI owners, respectfully. Recently, I saw this Lumma kit by member Lumma E60R http://e60.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173614
My jaws dropped close to the ground, ultimately it's a must have someday. The question is, will it look incomplete and out of place with the stock sides and rear bumper?

The other observation is the current rear is pointing awkwardly up in the air like a duck's butt. I am not sure if it's the sloping parking lot or it is from the 20 inch wheels (275/30/20). I don't remember who it looked with the stock 18's. Anyhow, do I need to drop it to look good with the M-tech style rear future upgrade? All the hot pix with body kits are lowered, looks good, but I prefer the freedom to roam around without slowing down for bumps and dips to avoid shredding the lumma front bumper is looks much lower than stock. The other option is coilovers which is close to 2 grand but is not worth it to lower by an inch or so, since they ride almost exact same as my stock sports suspension IMHO. H&R springs are cheaper, but don't know about the handling and ride quaility.
Thoughts, suggestions welcome.

u dont need to lower your ride.
its all a matter of taste.
Theres a few socal members who have both mtech kits and reps on
sports suspension and they look clean enough.
I dont think the kits hang low enough for speed bumps unless your dumped.
Going onto steep and narrow driveways is another story though.
btw, come to our SoCal meets man, check out the cars and you can ask other socal members all these questions and vendors like RPi, Trinity, Eurorev often show up too.

Yeah, the Rieger kit had caught my attenction for some time now. It might be overly dominating the entire front. I just saw a full kit from Umnitza on the forum at a great price. I now need to know paint and install cost in SoCal for consideration.
