Hello, I have a 2008 528xi with parking distance sensors. I am intrested in purchasing the M-Tec kit for my car but the local dealer is telling me that I will have to replace the sensors. All 8 of them for around a %1,000.00. My question is, can the holes on the M-Tec bumpers be modified to accept the existing sensors or am I going to have to buy the M-Tec sensors? Ant hepl would be appriciated, Thanks.

Did you notice a jumbo pot of petroleum jelly and some latex gloves on the dealers table and was he salivating when the words "$1,000 to you" came out of his pie hole?
Because that is just cobblers.
You do not need to purchase new sensors for the bumper change unless you are going from LCI - pre-LCI and vice-versa! So if you currently have the SE LCI bumper, make sure you go for the LCI MSport bumper.

Don't forget to order it online form Morrison BMW its $1245 or so shipped so that might possibly be cheaper than what the dealer is giving you.

Yea its Morristown, NJ and you can go online here http://www.shopbmwusa.com/VehicleAcc...CenterId=16856 and put in your car year and model and pick the kit. You should see the price.
