Hey guys, i am planning to paint my calipers black real soon but i need suggestions on which brand paint to use....also i have seen the "Bmw Performance" sticker on the M5 BBKs now i know with my tiny 530i calipers i wont be able to fit those letters on them but i am actually thinking to just put "BMW" sticker in red on them...what do you guys think? will it fit? will it look nice? any suggestions would be great! Thanks!
Anybody know?

You can just paint on car but I would remove it and do some quality prep work. Then paint. Follow instructions perfectly. The key to a solid paint job is prep work. Painting them on car won't have that same prep work. You are also fighting overspray as well.

Yes, clean up the hub. Go to any auto store (Pep Boys, etc) you will find rust remove, paint for high temps, then purchase the G2. Paint the hubs silver (Spray on), then the calipers black. They don't stand out in the way red does, however, the rust doesn't stand out either!
What you'll find is when you clean your wheels a nice clean look, instead of the rusted calipers and hubs playing peek-a-boo behind those nice rims.
There are several DIY threads in here. If you look up each one then pick and choose techniques, you'll create your own technique. However, it does take time, and your vehicle would be laid up for at least 24 hours for the paint to cure properly.

I lol'd. Seriously though, its not lazy, its about not having a car lift which would be ideal. Its about having to jack up your car with a ghetto jack and then sit there indian style for hours painting away like a tard. No thanks! 200 bucks is worth it to have someone else do it. =p
