So I installed my Black Kidney grilles a few weeks ago and as I took a look at them I thought to myself how painting those diagonal black support beams behind the grilles red would look like. I think It would look pretty good with the black grille in front. What do you guys think?
I WAS GOING TO DO THE SAME. WHEN I HAD MY CAR, i say go for it and see how it looks..

I will test it out as soon as possible. I still have to buy some red tape from Ace or something. I will post the pics soon.

i was thinking the same.. first thought to my head was "daaaaaayyyyyyuuuuuuuummmmmmm" then it was "go girl"

now back to the grill i was going to comment on.. i think you should test it with tape, i know you said it already, but that was also my thought before i read through all the way.. good luck.. bet your kniuckles will get messed up doing it a little.. and i dont think it will look good.. but what matters is what you prefer, its your car

I have the technique for taking off the grilles down so I hope my knuckles will stay intact.
Sometimes you do something that doesn't look good but you worked hard on it so your in denial. Hearing from you guys is going to help having a clear mind on it. 99% of the mods the good people on this forum recommend I like too so if you guys don't like it it I will probably not go through with it.
