I decided to paint my brake calipers. I talked to a couple people and I was recommended to go with Dupicolor. This is a ceramic paint that will handle 500 degrees of heat. This paint is VERY thin. Dries pretty fast which is good but, I still put about 7 coats of paint on the calipers. Did not have to remove caliper, just clean with break cleaner and scrub it a few times to remove all brake dust. then wipe it down with a damp cloth to help. I spent about 20 minutes just to clean each caliper. The cleaner you can get the caliper, the better the paint will stick. let me know what you guys think. Took this picture this morning in the garage with the door closed.

brake cleaner is dangerous around paint, it will make that shit come off like its a wet sheet of paper, don't use around my car...
Nice job, it must look nice wen you roll will the black rims, im looking to put black rims on the same color car too but I'm still on the fence about what to do with the calipers...
Maybe blue to match the bmw blue...

Nice job, looks nice n clean. I originally wanted blue but went with black for a more low key non attention grabbing look. Did it myself and I must say this made my car-wheels look so much better. I also painted the hubs, and break shield black. Its such a clean look with my tin spoke black rims.

I was thinking of painting the shield and the hub. I did not think red would be the best choice. I am liking the black idea though. I guess I might have to take off my wheels another time. This process took me a long time. I am thinking with black I will not need as many coats. Shield and hub is on my to do list and it will be black
