Guys, I'm looking to get the m-tech kit painted in the area since I want a couple of other things corrected at the same time does anyone in the area have a recomendation. I'm considering JMK springfield but ideally i'd like somewhere a little more north and cheaper (as long as they are good!)

Richard - I'm getting mine from Bloomfield BMW, which is a bit further north from JMK. I did a get quote from JMK awhile back and Bloomfield seems to be less expensive. Bloomfield actually offers to buy back my stock bumpers for $100 a piece which saves me some money and space. Anyway, I have to give credits to Kevin who hooked me up with this deal. PM me if you're interested. David

How much is the bumper? How much do they charge for paint and installation?
I priced out with JMK before and found Bloomfield less expensive.

JMK did good jobs on my leased e90 330i. But the price is not cheap.

Like I said, you might want to double check with Bloomfield BMW. If you did not get your M-tech kit yet, you might want to buy the kit from Bloomfield BMW, have them painted and put them on for you. You can check with David(theXman) and see what he feels about the job done by Bloomfield BMW.

I will keep going to JMK , I got the car from hell (in my own ignorance ) I bought a 05 530i from 21st century in union
to find it was 04 been in an accident etc-etc . the guys at JMK have helped me get it all fixed back to normal (pending the BBB doing something at the place I bought the car) , so they may be a bit more but every time I how uo they help out from Ben in Parts , Hilario in service Frank in Paint , IMO quality people are rare these days but these guys are a good advert (comercial) for BMW

so climbing off my soap box

As soon as I get my work finished, be good for us all to meet up and compare paint work
for brits I have a good source of pg tips and hob nobs !

Nothing against JMK and I'd go to them from the feedback I heard but I'm cheap...hahaha

I saw some too good to be true deals at 21st but ended up buying from a BMW dealer since I wanted a CPO, I hope you get everything sorted. Nice to hear they are so helpful.

There's a 'British' store in Montclair but I usually get my hob nobs and PG-Tips from stop and shop..sometimes even A&P carry them just the Branston pickle has been a little elusive there and unfortunately the wife has taken to Branston as well
