Do you guys think I should it paint it black and paint the vents/slits to match the lower covering of my M5 mirror covering?

I think you should paint it black but keep the CF exposed on the vents. I have an extra pair of CF lower mirror covers if you want. haha

Your car is stunning as is, if I were you though I'd paint match the hood and leave the CF vents exposed.

Match Your car color not the bottoms of the M5 mirrors. Looks like your mirrors are a gunmetal color and matching it will make it look like it stands out too much. Painting it to match your car color will tone things down and look more sleek.

I say you trade hoods with me. Platinum Gray will look much better on your car!!!

Edit: those silly vents are slowing down your car anyway.

I agree with most everyone else. Paint the hood black and leave the vents CF.
