Hey Gang.
The warning has now come up on my screen saying my rear pads are in need of replacement.
Is this the case?
How does the indicator system work?
Also my front pads say there is 8000 km left.
Should I change all the pads?
And does anyone know what BMW uses? Is it ATE?
Should I go aftermarket?
Many Thanks.

My Ride: 2004 545i - Bone stock... help!
Mine are coming up too, anyone have any experience with - http://www.ctbrakes.com/pads/bmw.html these?
I've heard/read that I need to replace rotors as well as OEM's are too thin to turn so with that said, should I replace with OEM rotors or is there a better alternative for similar price?

Use the OEM rotors for sure but the Axxis pads will stay clean and they work brilliantly , the bedding in process is critical ....................but lots of fun !!!!!
