Just got back from a delaer and got original BMW accesories catalogue for E60.
Besides the expected stuff like wheels, bike holder for the roof, umbrella and holders it offer this:
Adaptive lights
Comfort seats with massage functions
Front and rear bumper cameras
Idependent heating
Garage openers in the mirror
Alarm
Extra xenon lights instead current foglights????
Does this mean that all this can be retrofitted????????
Obviously!!! This would answer many questions....

I have the same catalogue.
There certainly are a lot of options.
They have comfort seats & active seats, which seems like quite a major retrofit job.
So I am not sure if it is just an options catalogue or a real accessories catalogue.

Correct, parts are listed but are not available yet. There is a technical hold on all the items listed. Don't know how long for, sorry...
Interestingly, Front & Rear camera retrofit kit is now in the EPC:

Ya? what about them? They wont fit in your std seats... nor sports seats so no worries... even if they are "cheap"
