Orange reflectors had to go!

This simple modification is a must on LCI cars IMO.
I removed the reflectors (very easy to do) and got them painted at the local body shop. Here are some pics:

I'd do the same on the front silver trim that looks like bumper shows it's tongue out

The reflector thing is so funny to me. When I got my last 550i everyone hated the body color inserts on the rear bumpers so they went out and bought European reflectors. Now it seems the opposite is true. Personally, I don't think that it's such a bad idea either way.

I like that much better. I'm not a fan of the fender reflector...it's weird to me

I've seen this happen with every BMW model, people hate DOT mandated changes as they usually make the car less appealing. It's not really a modification but rather a restoration to originally intended look.

huh? Over here where the orange reflectors are not required, I would love to have it on the bumper like that. Its nice, and if it had like a light thats on all the time like the old s-class benz, it'd be even cooler.
