I love the pics of the e60s with the 166s. Howitzer and Chuck W.

It was funny. I showed my wife the two pictures and she said "go with the 166s, the 172s look like they are too hard to clean."

But before all of that she said "what's wrong with your wheels?"

On a sidenote:

285s on the rear are no problem, correct?

Where have most of you had your tires installed on your wheels? Do any of you trust Goodyear, Firestone, or any of those discount tire places?

Thanks
Take the wheels to a professional wheel shop that can handle low profile tires on a 19" wheel. Do not go to the places you mentioned above. The likelihood of damage to the edges of your wheels with them is high. For peace of mind, even if it costs you a few extra bucks, is to take it to a high end wheel shop in your area. I would have to believe there are many in Orlando, Florida.

I have the 172 on my car and YES, they are a bugger to clean. That said, I would have it over the 166. Something about the shape of the 172 that really looks nice. 172 would have been better if they were made as 20"s IMHO.

Thats said, if I cant take cleaning the wheels anymore, then I would love to replace them with these. I saw it on Dave 530's car. I really like them a lot but no clue what type they are. Reposting a pic from Dave530's thread. (hope you don't mind it dave)

cheers

NEITHER! Get the 167's if you're going OEM.

The 166's suck and are just boring.

Thanks for that info.

If I do change my wheels, I would go for those. The curve on the spokes make it look nice when the wheels are in motion. Dave530 has a picture where is far is doing a power run with those wheels and man, its sexy.!! Better victoria secret catalogue any day.

cheers

I did not use any spacers, used 285s on rear and bought the tires at Costco where they also installed them without issue.
