That's what I figure but if you forget the body shop and thnk like a customer, would you want used bumpers? I mean i'm sure the shop would fix them up, any chips and repaint them whatever color but.. I know I wouldnt. I guess I'll just save them -- I cant throw them away!

lomag, jet190rs is right. also, some probably wouldn't care just because they want to sell the car or trade it in. and of course there are also some bad body shops wouldn't tell their customers the bumpers are used <_<.

Hey Lomag,

If the rear was White I'd pick it up this weekend.

I'd still like to get the M-tech rear bumper cover but I don't want to spring for the whole kit as the car is a lease (and the next one will hopefully have the M-kit, quad exhaust, and a V-10)

Mine are in boxes in the garage.

I don't know what else to do with them.

Lucky for me, I live alone and have a 2 car garage.

I am keeping them. I worked out a deal with the body shop that is painting and putting my Mkit. Dont worry, they are the shop that my dealer sends all their paint and body work. They will put the old back on if I turn in my leased vehicle for a 550 in two years. For free.

Are leased vehicles not supposed to have the M kit installed? I thought leased vehicles aren't supposed to have aftermarket products from other brands, but any BMW OEM accessories are fine???

As long as you take them off before returning the car and restore the OEM accessories, there should be no problem.

It is just a waste to turn it in with adds. You lose what you put into it. They dont care, but why give them something that you paid for. It is best to return it like you got it.
