To those who installed the M-Aerodynamic Package, what'd you do with the old parts? For now I've made a storage area for them but I don't know why I'm storing them and if you think to sell them who would buy them? Hrmm....

Hope to get my car back tomorrow (Monday). Woot.

People who've damaged their stock bumpers, maybe? How much are replacement bumpers on an E60 anyways?

if there is an accident and an e60 is involved, i'm sure the body shop will take them if the price is right for them. not saying i want anyone to get into accident but call around some body shops if you really want to get rid of them. who knows ?

That's what I figure but if you forget the body shop and thnk like a customer, would you want used bumpers? I mean i'm sure the shop would fix them up, any chips and repaint them whatever color but.. I know I wouldnt. I guess I'll just save them -- I cant throw them away!

Some insurance companies, such as Geico, have a policy where they require repairs using aftermarket/used/salvaged parts only. The customers aren't allowed to get new parts. So might as well sell it to a bodyshop I guess?

My Ride: E60 "Stripper" Now C6 "Stripper"
Talking

Hey Lomag, maybe some people would want to have a two tone look using the other color front and rear bumpers as a starting point. Tacky but unique though.

I really think BMW should add the aero kit to the the E60 ZSP sports package and keep the ZSP price the same (like the E46 ZSP has the m-tech or aero kit added at no additonal cost)!

They will eventually but probably not for many years like they did with the E39 the final model year.
