Bmw recently changed my front brakes and rotors since service was due and under warranty. My rears are due now but out of warranty. I wanted to go with hawk pads and rotors from acute performance. My fronts are pretty much new. Is it ok to run oems in front and aftermarket rotors/brakes in rear?

No problem with having oems in front and aftermarket in back. Just be sure to repace your fronts with some aftermarket ones when it comes time and you'll have a lot less cleaning to do.

You will crash and burn a fiery death if you even consider that!

Wait, wait, wait...are you saying that aftermarket rotors and pads won't have as much brake dust crapolla as the OEM ones? Which brand do I get, sign me up!

Once again, Michael is a bit late today. Lots of members got their brake parts from Michael...make sure you get the top of the line kind. I read somewhere that the lower end doesn't bite as much.
