Anybody know of a dealer or indy shop in SoCal who charges a reasonable amount for installation or just programming of the aux input? Thanks.

Some people like to listen to music on devices that aren't made by Apple Plus the IPOD kit doesn't output sounds from apps like Flycast mobile radio.

If you have cd changer and your cd player plays mp3's you may not need a sw update for the ipod. Aux for sure.

Before I installed my Ipod retrofit, my cd changer and cd player both played mp3's, but I still needed coding for the ipod.

--Thanks to Michael of Method Sound for helping me out on my Aux Input today. Michael is an easy going person to work with and I recommend him to you guys in the OC who need to get work done with their sound systems.

So back on topic. Does anyone know where to get the thing programmed for cheap. I just got one today at accessory fest for crazy cheap but the service writ up jockeys quoted me $300 for install and programming. I looked at him like he was stupid and backed away slowly.
