Finally got some OEM black gloss grills, these knock socks of my crappy sprayed ones. It`s a shame im no good at taking decent photos.

Grills were bought from here BMMINIPARTS for less than the dealer price and are brand new.

how do you like it? I was debating between color matched grilles (black sapphire) and the matte black. I ended up choosing the Matte color because it matched the bottom plastic grills and im very happy with them, but i still wonder what the glossy black sapphire ones would be like...

Nice - I think gloss black look the nicest.

But even better is gloss black outside with chrome slats

Depends. I was rocking that for awhile, but now I am back to all gloss black because of my hood. It seems that the slants would distract/pull attention to it to much.

Anyway, congrats Mike!

I have the black matte grills and after seeing the gloss black version I wish I would have puchased them . They look very nice on black cars.
