My Ride: 2006 Titanium Silver 550i, with all the bells and whistles!!
Has anyone had an O2 sensor replaced at no cost. My 4 year factory warranty is up in October 2009.
Well, I should really start the question different, my check engine llight is on (the little yellow engine symbol on the dash). I have checked the gas cap, there are no messages or warnings in idrive, and the "CHECK OK" test seems to pass. None the less, the eninge light is on. I'll be calling for an appointment today, but my guess is that this is an O2 sensor, as I had the same symptons on my 325.
I am just wondering if this will be covered because of the factory warranty. I have yet to have any service completed under warranty (other than oil service..)

I had my pre and post cat o2 sensors replaced under my CPO warranty when I had my e46. This was done even with my aftermarket intake and exhaust

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I got hosed by my dealer when the O2 sensor was replaced on my 325. they said it was past the 4 year factory warranty and that CPO warranty did not cover it.
I won't let that happen again.
Light went away today after I booked. Oh well, I am still gonna drop it off, because they can update my software and get my eyebrows working....still can't believe they sold it to me without those lights working....might be time to find a new dealer.
