Well, I found some pics "WITH" an obvious 1.2-1.3" lowering with a sport package. Looks amazing. I just can't find good pics of one with stock springs. MAN I JUST LOVE THOSE RIMS!!! That car doesn't even have an m-tech kit and looks badass. Its the exact look I'm going for. I'm probably going to paint my brake calipers red just like that as well.

Wait a minute. I've seen that car before

Correctomundo Gene! Non-sport/not lowered

Attachment 55143

Hey, ITNurse! That doesn't look bad at all !!!! I have hope. Thanks!

p.s. - you guys are mentioning 285's in the rear. Is there anything wrong with using 275s? I hear the speedo will be accurate with 275 and with 285 it won't. Also, I got the M6 style staggered set, it'll stick out a bit more and avoid rubbing.

275 is the recc'd size for the rear. 285 also, but if you have the M5 offset in the rear (ET 28)and then put spacers or lower the car, you may have rubbing issues with 285's. Members tend to get the M6 rear offset (ET 17) for 166 wheels pushing the wheel further out without the need for spacers...

member tiago started a thread regarding wheels sizes...

Tires front (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 245 35 19)
Tires back (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 285 30 19)

Non-Sport... and definitely not lowered.

I went with 285's... no issues at all.

I'm having a hard time trying to find pictures of an E60 with M166 rims non-lowered / non-sport. If you guys can find some good examples, post em up please. I am getting these 19"'s installed this week on a Black, non-sport 530i and want to get an idea of how its going to look without the H&R Spring kit, (I am getting the car lowered in a couple of weeks because I have a bad feeling it'll look shitty).

Here is a pic of the rims I have now, probably the ugliest damn rims ever....

UGLY UGLY.
E60 with M166 rims non-lowered / non-sport (with 255x40x19 front and 285x35x19 rear and a few modifications to the front plastics under the fenders)
