how about a comparison between lci and these lights?
Trust me you don't want to see that. If you have the money go OEM any day. It really is quite a big difference especially on the LED rods.

Ok Bruce, no comment on the pics. However, the more important questions are: How much is the kit? When can we get one?
Have scheduled a meeting with my supplier to go over the new design and layout. So should get an idea of pricing and availablity later tomorrow.

As many of you know I received a set of Smoked and Clear tail lights, and one set has to go back tomorrow. So, I thought I would install one clear, take photos of Clear & OEM, then install Smoked and take photos of Clear & Smoked side-by-side for those of you wondering.

As soon as I installed the Clear I was sure I wanted the Clear. Then I installed the Smoked and still liked the clear better. Went back again to take more photos, and now I just don't know. Please note, that these pictures show the Smoked much more brighter than they actually are.

First up Clear on left and OEM on right with lights on.

Now for the Smoked vs. Clear comparison. The Clear are on the left and Smoked on the right. Again, the Smoke look much brighter in the photos.

Right side of Smoked tail light.

This is about the truest color comparison to actual.

NON-OEM LCI Type Ebay Tail Lights-p1170160.jpg

Again pretty close to actual with lights on.

With lights off.

I think you get the idea.

Here's my opinion. Sure they are not LCI OEMs with Bruce's cables, but they are a vast improvement over pre-LCI tail lights. Providing Bruce's cables are not cost prohibited, I plan to buy them and improve these lights even more.

As Bruce has implied if you can afford the OEM LCIs that's the way to go. I prefered to use those funds to replace all other lights, Angel Eyes, HID, Fogs, Interior LED, and License Plate LED, with the savings by going replica.

BTW, this was by far the easiest mod to install yet!

Agreed Bjsuds, better to use the $$$ saved to improve other things on the car.

That's what is so great about choice, there is no right or wrong answer, it's just all about what is right for you. Congrats on your vote.
