I went for it. Taped them off and sprayed the first coat on the tails and reflectors. Im going to wait till tomorrow to second coat them because the temp is dropping and needs to be done in temps of 60 degrees F or higher.

Painting them:

I think i did a pretty good/even job. I washed them with soap and then dried them off. Then used a glass cleaner to clean them up some more, then dried it. Im going to take pictures in the next 30-45 mins to get them on here. I think it is going to take 2 coats to get the look i want. The can says do not put on more than 3 because then it will restrict the light from getting through. Kind of stressful...my mind is running a hundred miles an hour and the suspense is killing me. I dont think im going to be able to goto sleep because i want them done and mounted!!!

Pics coming soon..

The bottom tape line was done with one piece so there wasnt and uneven levels across the face of the light. It was painters 3M tape (good stuff)
Like i said this is one coat. I did second coat the little pieces but not pictures yet because it wasnt dry. Finished product will be done tomorrow night, and installed saturday morning on the car.
