No heat after LCI Climate w/ CIC retrofit

Hey guys so i need some advice (anything at all), i'll try to keep it simple, i tend to rattle on lol

Basically, with the LCI climate unit installed I get not heat, when I swap back in my pre-lci unit, i get heat.

I would like to be able to use the LCI unit because with out it i won't be able to change the vent settings between the 3 zones (Upper/windscreen, middle/front vents and lower/feet vents)

More info if needed: 2004 545i

I did a CIC retrofit, everything went fine, everything works. At the time i still had my pre-lci climate in. I updated all the neccesary modules including the IHKA (mine you, still with the pre-lci climate unit)

I bought and swapped an LCI climate unit (also did the pin 21 mod) but did not update the module with the new unit installed. This was done in the summer so I didn't check the heat.

Winter came and I realized I had no heat, I did a bunch of research into no heat issues and found a bunch of hardware fixes (sa. thermostat, heater control valve, heater core etc). I didn't think it was the thermostat because I had just replaced that.

So i thought before I go further into removing things from the engine bay let me try to swap back my old pre-lci climate unit. Did that and I am currently getting heat.

So any advice on what I should do to get my heat working with the LCI climate unit?

If it's the unit itself, is there anything like maybe a fuse on the inside that needs to be changed? Any advice would really be appreciated. I can't have the heat constantly blowing on the windscreen, the glass fogs up quicker that way and I don't want to be turning on the AC every couple minutes to clear it.
