Yes and no , once you fill your tires with nitrogen , you can only refill with nitrogen. Only problem is not a whole lot of local gas stations carry nitrogen pumps. Nitrogen is suppose to be better because its lighter than air. You can't mix the two or you'll have more of a chance to have a blowout, or at least thats what they say.... But thats about it. John your car is smoking these days !!! Nice!!!

if you read my original post, i asked if there is a "downside to filling up with nitrogen". i never once questioned the % of nitrogen in the air we breath.lol
