Newbie with spacer and tint questions...

I should take delivery of my '08 550i Sport Carbon Black/Natural Brown in a couple of weeks, and I would like to go ahead and order lowering springs and spacers. I am sold on the Eibach Pro springs, but I have no idea what size spacers to use on the rears. The wheels are stock 172s, and I want the rears pushed to the fenders obviously without rubbing after lowering. Is there any reason to be conservative and go with 12mm spacers, or would 15mm work fine? Also, any opinions on 3M Scotchtint (non-metallic)? I am in rural SC without a lot of options, and the only dealer in the area with ceramic tint refuses to go below 35%. Thanks in advance for your advice.

My Ride: F13 M6
for spacers, rear offsets for 172 wheels are ET32. you can go ahead with a 15mm spacer on each rear wheel bringing the offset to ET17, and the rear will pretty much be flushed with the fender. good luck. and welcome and enjoy the forums.
