Hey all, I finally took delivery of my 2010 535i M-sport Carbon/Gray today (pics coming soon!) and I can't find the HD "activation" option anywhere! I was told that there is a built in HD tuner because I have the Navigation system and I know in the old iDrive it was pretty easy to find the HD box and check it. On the new car though, I can't find the HD option at all. I know there are about 15 or so HD channels in my area and know they work (listened to them on my 08 X5). Am I just missing something or is there a possible software issue that may need looked at by the dealer?

Just select Radio on the iDrive (4.0) and then FM. It should bring up the stronger stations in the area. If any are broadcasting in HD, they should show something like this: "101.3HD"

Of course if one is on the fringe of 101.3 signal, HD does not come through. You do not have to select any option in the iDrive screen.

See page 158 in the NEW manual - if you got one with your car. N.B.: the New Manual has the correct iDrive discussion. If you did not get the correct manual, ask your dealer to get one from BMW - I just go mine this week.
